Professional Development Goal
I hope to continue my growth throughout my journey as a life-long learner, and feel professional development is an amazing way to learn more about our career. This will help provide my future students with all of the knowledge and services that they may need!
Blending and Personalized Learning
I have attended professional developments of encouraging blended learning in the classroom. This includes implementing differentiated units and putting a focus on student centered learning. I want to provide each child in my class with challenging yet manageable goals to help them succeed throughout life.
Registered Behavior Technician
I am currently completing the required training to be a Registered Behavior Technician. I hope to use this as a part-time job using ABA therapy outside of the classroom, and implementing my knowledge within the classroom when necessary.
Google Classroom
As a recent graduate a major part of my program at URI included feeling comfortable with different modes of technology. This allowed me to incorporate my knowledge into my student teaching classroom using google slides, google drawing, and teaching students how to navigate their dashboard. I hope to continue to grow as a google certified educator and complete both trainings to one day educate more teachers on the power of digital learning.
